We had a new roof and siding put on this year and it looks great!  Once the new siding was put on, we had our pest control vendor come back to see if there were any areas needing blocked off so critters could not get into our house. Today we had our roof replaced by Schoenherr Roofing!  They replaced the shingles on the house, garage and shed.  On the house, all wood decking was replaced with a few on the garage.  Ridge vent installed on the house and garage.  Crew was here early as schedule and on time. I watched this five man crew work constantly with a break for lunch. My home is a two story colonial. This crew had to carry all the lumber and shingles to the top of the roof.  Shingles carried up to top of the garage as.  The crew leader (Luis) was very polite. He took pictures throughout sending them to his boss Chad. Chad then forward them to me to keep me up to date.  Even views from the top of the roof where I couldn’t see. The crew did an outstanding job cleaning the area upon completion.   All of this work by 5 men in one day (12 hrs).  I could not have asked for a better experience. Sorry if this is long but every member of the Schoenherr team that I dealt with went beyond my expectations.  David, sales person was the only one who inspected my attic and included some extra work there. He also walked the roof. He was the last estimate and the only one who put a temporary patch on the roof to mitigate the interior damage. The other employee was Josh, the installation supervisor. He was very professional and provided about 30 photos of the work done in the attic and on the roof. These were areas that I could not inspect myself. I also want to mention Emma in the office. Overall, we had a positive experience with our roof replacement, but a few issues kept it from being excellent. Scheduling was easy, the consultant was on time and prepared, and the quote and financing options were competitive. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the roof quickly, even with two existing layers to remove. We also appreciated the progress photos and prompt follow-up with the invoice, financing paperwork, and final inspection scheduling. Our main concerns were communication, cleanup, and safety. We did not receive a response when we asked for a dumpster delivery time, which made planning garage access difficult. We were also told the generator and A/C units would be covered, but they were not. We also observed that no one working on the roof appeared to be using fall protection, which was concerning for work over 6 feet. We recently had our roof replaced and I pleased to report that Schoenherr Roofing Company delivered a five-star performance. from the initial call with Amanda to schedule a meeting with Joe ,who thoroughly explained the entire process to my wife and me, the experience was seamless . Additionally, Korey, the project manager, kept us informed throughout the process providing regular updates,photos,and addressing all our questions. we will undoubtedly utilize their services again in the future for our siding needs. I had been struggling with a leaking roof for a while, and after several failed attempts by other contractors, I finally found someone who not only diagnosed the problem but fixed it with precision and professionalism. The issue turned out to be the chimney area, and instead of just patching things up, Caleb took the time to build a cricket around the chimney to divert water and prevent future leaks. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the work was completed efficiently without any mess or disruption to my daily routine. What really stood out was their clear communication and dedication to making sure everything was done right. Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof Schoenherr worked from dawn to dusk to complete the project in a very timely fashion. They came in $1090 under budget, having finished the whole job within one work day and three hours. They provided photos of the roof halfway through the project and at completion ? I would have appreciated a few 'before' photos, too. They provided a group text so that everyone involved could communicate and stay looped in. My only other quibble is that the finance person always neglected to cc my wife on emails, even though the home-improvement loan is in her name. Finally, after wrapping up the project, Schoenherr put everything in both yards back in place and cleaned the site really well.
